That almost defies reason.

That's the thing with wanting something. At first blush, the need is so strong, it's almost overpowering. I learned long ago that the wait, it is a good thing, as it draws a line between things that I want to develop a long, lasting relationship with, and things that I'm giving the eye as a passing fling.
